The use of a plane and related expenses are all donated by pilots, private individuals, corporations, etc.  Angel Flight arranges free air transportation for any legitimate, charitable, medically related need. They provide transportation for people who are financially distressed or in need of a time-critical non emergency situation. ACOT stands for the Advisory Committeee on Organ Transplantation. ACOT was established to address the issues surrounding organ transplantation. ACOT meetings are open to the public. A person may also request in writing to speak during the public comment section of the meeting. The minutes to the meetings may be accessed by the public.
