Our Policies

DISCLAIMER

The purpose of LODAP is to advocate for the Living Organ Donor. Our main goal is to promote safety for Living Organ Donor by providing education of Living Organ Donor issues to Living Organ Donors, transplant centers, government agencies and government legislators.

LODAP is not able to give medical advice to any Living Organ Donor. If you are experiencing health issues, YOU MUST SEEK THE TREATMENT OF A PHYSICIAN. No advocate will give medical advice concerning your medical treatment, diagnosis, etc. If you are experiencing difficulty in obtaining treatment and feel as though your condition is being ignored, continue to seek a licensed physician for medical treatment. We understand this can be very frustrating but  do not give up until you find a physician who will listen. If you desire, we are able to advocate in your behalf by informing the transplant center and proper agencies of the issues concerning your care. Please contact us if you wish for an advocate to intervene in your behalf to help find resolution to the issues you have experienced with living organ donation and it's process.
